10th century Viking silver pendant from Aska in Hagebyhöga parish, Östergötland, Sweden
The pendant is a male head with bird on top with its wings spread down to the ears. This comes from a woman’s grave, a unique find containing precious metals which indicates the deceased was an important figure in society.
