Viking bracelet

Description

This simple-shaped replica of a twisted bronze bracelet is made according to historical models from the Viking Age, as it was common in Scandinavi.

The bracelet measures 7 x 5.5 cm, is about 0.8 cm wide and fits wrists from 16 to 19 cm.

In the Viking Age, women and men wore bracelets and all kinds of jewellery. Bracelets of bronze, gold and silver were widespread alongside brooches and brooches in a wide variety of shapes and sizes because jewellery was an important status symbol that made the rank and status of the respective person clear at first glance.
